みずほ　　MIZUHO

九州新幹線の全線開通（2011年3月12日）まであと少し。
これで大阪ー鹿児島が３時間４５分でつながる！！！
西郷どんが、もうすぐ大阪にやってくる！？


Shinkansen "Mizuho"will connect  Kagoshima and Osaka soon (Mar. 12th, 2011) .
It takes only 3hours and 45minutes !
We are looking forward to seeing  Mr. Saigo (Samurai from Kagoshima) in Osaka .

    Hi, what does "Mizuho" means? Is there something in common with the sportswear famous brand in Japan?

    Sorry I just realised after that the sportswear brand would be Mizuno not Mizuho...
    So nothing in common here. Mizuho, I cannot see the kanjis but I suppose it would have something to do with the water wouldn't it?

    "Mizuho" means "瑞穂”＝ "fresh ears of rice".
    Japan is the land of golden ears of rice.

    We hope Shinkansen ,"Mizuho",produces fruitful results.

    Thanks for that.
    Makes me think about the smell around a rice field just after harvest... Smells like in a tatami room. Missing Japan sometimes.
